AI Governance, Cybersecurity & GRC Advisory Leader | Director | SME | Top 10 APAC & Top 100 Global Thought Leader, Thinkers360 | Global Advisory Board | Research Fellow, Cloud Security Alliance | AI Patent Pending

Everyone's obsessed with seeing AI at its peak, what it can do, and how to embrace it. Beyond what we’ve spotted right now. Fewer raise the straightforward question: who stops it when it gets things wrong? Because power and decision-making without oversight rarely end well. The stakes are far too high. A while back, Thinkers360 landed the AI Safety badge. Somehow, as things stand, I'm sitting at the top of the global ranking for the category. A sincere note of appreciation to Cloud Security Alliance for opening its doors to contribute through publications, professional discussions, training initiatives, and certification programmes on AI Safety in particular over the years. That said, here's what matters most. AI Safety is fundamentally about governance. Who's accountable? Who’s responsible? Who jumps in when systems behave unexpectedly? More than a technical nitty-gritty, it certainly is. Human-in-the-loop, human-on-the-loop, and human out of the loop are some of the magic mantras. The winners won't necessarily be the ones who move the fastest, but those capable of governing what they build or implement and still sleep like a baby. #AISafety #AIGovernance #ResponsibleAI #ThoughtLeadership #Thinkers360

A profound reflection, Goutama Bachtiar FRSA F FIN FPT FIIDM MAICD TAISE. Congratulations on a well-deserved recognition! You hit on a critical truth: AI safety is not merely a technical constraint; it is a fundamental governance imperative. As we navigate these high-stakes environments, the real differentiator won't be the speed of innovation, but the quality of the 'Wisdom-in-the-Loop.' Data gives us the 'what,' but only ethical leadership provides the 'why' and the 'at what cost.' Looking forward to continuing this vital dialogue on accountability and trust.
