Consultants are currently charging PE firms $20,000 to install basic Claude wrappers. I think this is a symptom of a larger problem in AI: No one has "taste" for good AI systems. We are seeing a flood of glorified tech demos built by people who are not on the hook for actual business output. This problem extends all the way up to the AI Labs, who routinely ship extremely buggy products The underlying mechanic is simple. AI does not create greatness. It scales what is already there. It scales greatness for the great, and it scales mediocrity for the mediocre. Being on the cutting edge of tech, has always optimized for this kind of behavior too. Early adopters making 10-20x what they should realistically be making for information arbitrage. If your new Head of AI lacks fundamental taste, you aren't building an enterprise advantage. #ArtificialIntelligence #PrivateEquity #Startups #Founders

Which type of agentic companies will win? My bet is clear: 1) Startups giving users everything they need to focus on their taste, specific knowledge, and judgment. 2) Startups building context layers that let AI use the right intersections of data to **actually** be intelligent. 3) Startups giving their agents real memory infrastructure where every n+1 run beats the last because they're optimizing outcomes not outputs. The rest will be wrappers with churn problems.

Canyon Code has raised $5 million in Pre-Seed funding to build enterprise infrastructure for managing and optimizing multi-agent #AI applications. The Sunnyvale-based startup’s funding round was led by Cota Capital, with participation from NewBuild Venture Capital and Blackhorn Ventures. Led by CEO RaviKiran Gopalan, Canyon Code is developing a workflow intelligence layer designed to provide granular control over complex multi-agent AI systems and LLM-driven applications. Its platform observes dependencies between AI agents and their underlying LLM calls, maintaining a dynamic dependence graph that tracks agent progress, contextual memory, scheduling, and orchestration in real time. By adding deeper operational intelligence to the model serving layer, Canyon Code aims to help enterprises optimize AI application performance, efficiency, and business outcomes at scale. The company plans to use the funding to expand operations and accelerate platform development. @Aditya Akella Chief Scientist & Co-Founder #CanyonCode #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #LLM #AgenticAI #EnterpriseAI #MultiAgentSystems #AIInfrastructure #GenerativeAI #StartupFunding #PreSeed #WorkflowAutomation #MachineLearning #TechStartup #Innovation

Technology changed how we communicate, build, automate, and scale. But inside most startups, operations still remain scattered across dozens of disconnected tools. The real breakthrough isn’t just smarter technology. It’s technology that creates clarity. At Nautis, we’re building toward a future where execution, visibility, people, workflows, and decisions operate in one connected system. Because innovation means very little if teams still struggle to stay aligned. This National Technology Day, we’re thinking beyond software — and toward smarter operations for modern startups. Follow the journey. #NationalTechnologyDay #StartupTech #AI

Enterprise AI is entering a phase where depth is beginning to matter more than noise. Not every company building with AI today will become an enduring business. The difference increasingly comes down to whether founders truly understand the environments they are building for — enterprise complexity, adoption cycles, reliability, integration, security, and long-term operational value. In his interaction with The Financial Express, our Co-Founder & Managing Partner Satyakam Mohanty spoke about how we are approaching this at Wyser — with a focus on enterprise agentic AI, vertical AI, robotics, and cybersecurity. The conversation also touched on the growing opportunity for enterprise-focused startups emerging from India, alongside increasing investor interest in early-stage deep-tech ventures that require longer build and adoption cycles. This is the category of founders and problems we are deeply interested in backing at Wyser.
