Today marked a major milestone for the Cobb Convention Center expansion project as we celebrated the topping out ceremony. Before the final beam was raised into place, our team had the opportunity to sign their names on it leaving behind a permanent mark on a project that represents months of hard work, collaboration, and commitment. We’re grateful for every person involved in this project and proud of what has been accomplished together so far. A topping out ceremony is one of those rare moments where a structure briefly reveals the human layer beneath the steel. Months of sequencing, coordination, pressure, and problem-solving condensed into a single beam carrying signatures instead of load... at least for a moment.
