Saint John’s Square is our Transitional Housing Program that provides housing for up to 12 months with units that come fully furnished, WiFi, utilities and appliances. This is a critical step for families moving from episode(s) of homelessness to stable, permanent housing. Though the Square we serve up 22 families at any given time, and work with them to chart a new path in Sacramento. Today, we welcomed our partners from SMUD who are volunteering to prepare one of these homes for a new family. SMUD is an invaluable partner for Saint John's Program for Real Change and ensuring we maintain a safe space - and a clean, well maintained, and excellent space for our families!
