Janaye Ingram’s Post

Today, we broke ground on one of the five soccer pitches Airbnb is building across New York and New Jersey — starting at P.S. 112 in The Bronx. These are new, safe spaces where young people can come after school and be part of the legacy that will define the FIFA World Cup 2026™. That’s why these pitches are also going to schools across the New York and New Jersey region: 📍 Florence Avenue Elementary in Irvington, NJ 📍 M.S. K394 in Brooklyn 📍 P.S. 102 Bayview in Queens 📍 P.S. R373 in Staten Island 📍 P.S. 112 Bronxwood in The Bronx Our children and teenagers deserve not only to be inspired by the athletes on their screens, but also to play and live the game. At Airbnb, we believe these moments should be shared. Thanks to our partners at U.S. Soccer Foundation, FIFA World Cup 26™ New York New Jersey, and NYC Public Schools for helping make this a reality and making sure our young people have a field where they can play. https://lnkd.in/eFamyGgc

Hey, I helped pay for those even after we left because of bed bugs, enjoy! Would be wonderful if Airbnb offered customer service.

Janaye Ingram, Amazing. I humbly invite people here to give an overview of how I transformed the static Airbnb posting to an interactive one where viewers can now interact with the listing on a real-time basis. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/arpit--ahluwalia_hospitality-libertify-airbnb-ugcPost-7459524731944443904-Zadv?utm_source=social_share_send&utm_medium=member_desktop_web&rcm=ACoAACZermwBJdDONrJc1lASN707tlOEHhBId48

Congrats, all! Having grown up around "the beautiful game", I love to see this kind of investment in our communities here in NY/NJ in advance of this year's World Cup ⚽

Great work! It will do so much to help the hosts doing unpaid advocacy work nationwide if Airbnb leans into more public giving. It’s not just optics— it’s being a visible force of good in our communities.
