Congrats Varun. The flexible AI factory model is one of the more credible answers to the problem most communities are actually pushing back on. The fights I see playing out across the country are not really about whether data centers should exist. They are about whether the load shows up as a partner to the grid or as a parasite on it. If Emerald can demonstrate that hyperscale AI can curtail and shape its own demand at scale, it changes the political math in every county that is currently writing a moratorium.
Our family owns and preserves approximately 66,000 hectares of primary tropical forest in Colombia, representing a unique long-term asset for the development of high-integrity carbon credit projects. The land is part of our family patrimony and would be contributed directly into the structure of the project, aligning ownership, conservation, and long-term value creation. Current technical assessments indicate the potential generation of 1 to 3+ million carbon credits annually, with projected market values ranging between USD $10–15 per credit, particularly through premium environmental markets and next-generation verification standards. We are currently seeking a strategic investment partner for an initial USD $1.5 million development phase. The investor would participate as a long-term partner throughout the life of the carbon credit program. This is a powerful direction. But the real unlock isn’t just more power for AI. It’s aligning when and how that power is used with what the grid can actually absorb. If compute can flex with the system instead of fighting it, AI doesn’t strain infrastructure. It stabilizes it. That’s where this shifts from scaling technology to redesigning the system itself.
