Quick alfred_ update: SMS is back online. Performance and response speed may be a little slow at first as everything comes back online, but we’re working hard to get alfred_ back to full strength by the end of the day. If you’re still experiencing any issues, message me directly and I’ll help get it sorted. One quick ask: please save alfred_ as a contact in your phone. Since alfred_ communicates through SMS, saving the number as a contact helps prevent messages from being mistaken for spam by Apple. Appreciate everyone’s patience while we worked through this. Excited to have SMS back online.
alfred_ SMS service restored, performance may be slow

LI community - does it ever happen to you, as you're using LI, that you open up the webpage (I use my laptop mostly) and you see the top item in your feed, and then, without touching anything, the entire feed refreshes before you get a chance to read or click or interact? And if that does happen to you, do you know how to make it stop? Thanks.

Since Toby Beaglehole pointed it out earlier this week, I can't unsee it. If your post is full of sentences like "it's not about x — it's more about y" and there's an em dash every three sentences, then please post your prompt as a reply comment, because I would rather read that.

Deliverability in 2026 is harder than ever. Here's what's working: 1. Authenticate everything — SPF, DKIM, DMARC are non-negotiable 2. Monitor complaint rates daily — Gmail and Yahoo now enforce stricter thresholds 3. Segment aggressively — sending to unengaged contacts hurts everyone else 4. Warm new IPs slowly — reputation takes weeks to build, hours to destroy. 5. Use multi-SMTP routing — don't put all your sending reputation in one provider.

Most people think Claude charges per message. It doesn't. It charges per tokens. And here's the catch — every reply re-reads the entire chat from the top. Your first message: ~500 tokens. Your 10th message: ~5,000 tokens. Your 30th: well past 200,000. Same model. Same plan. 11x the cost on message 10. This is why long chats burn through limits fast — most tokens go to re-reading old history, not generating new answers. Two habits fixed it for me: - Start a fresh chat every 15–20 messages - Edit the original prompt instead of sending follow-up corrections The whole game is fewer tokens per turn.

We used to say 'don't fall in love with your code.' i think we need to change this one to 'don't fall in love with your agent code' (if you actually read it)

I have a simple support rule: If a user starts threatening with bad reviews, I stop listening. Even if they’re right. Anyone is free to review our tool. But don't bring it up as a bargening chip to get it how you want.
