BNP Paribas has supported Mistral AI on a US$830 million financing to fund the deployment of NVIDIA Grace Blackwell infrastructure - with 13,800 NVIDIA GB300 graphics processing units (GPUs) - in a new data center at Bruyères-le-Châtel in France. Bruyères-le-Châtel is the first data center selected by Mistral AI, dedicated to AI and the intensive training of LLMs, and is set to become operational in Q2 2026. Alongside a number of initiatives, the financing aims to support the company’s objective to secure 200 MW of capacity across Europe by the end of 2027 and to help bolster European autonomy in artificial intelligence. BNP Paribas acted as Mandated Lead Arranger, Bookrunner, Financial Modelling Bank, Issuing Bank, Account Bank, Sole pre-Hedging Bank and Hedge Coordinator, building on a collaboration with Mistral AI started in June 2023.
