Hospitals are no longer just healthcare providers; they are becoming technological innovators! As hospitals increasingly develop and deploy advanced medical technologies, strong quality management systems are essential to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory alignment. On 18 March, TÜV SÜD presented the ISO 13485:2016 certificate to the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, in Thailand, recognizing the hospital’s commitment to strengthening medical device quality management within clinical environments. This milestone reinforces confidence in the hospital’s processes for delivering safe, high-quality healthcare solutions while supporting innovation in medical technologies. The certificate was presented by Robert Fröhlich, Vice President, MHS (ASEAN), TÜV SÜD, with remarks delivered by Clinical Professor Artit Ungkanont, M.D., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital. Also present was Professor Sinee Disthabanchong, Acting Deputy Dean for Innovations and Cooperation, supporting the hospital’s innovation initiatives.
