Today we shared Our Approach to Responsible Growth, which outlines how we think about protecting ratepayers, strengthening communities, and advancing sustainability as digital infrastructure and AI continue to scale. I am grateful to my partner John Stephenson for his leadership and hard work in shaping this piece, as well as our partners Adam Shalapin, Mark Freeman and Scott Wright, and their teams, for their invaluable input. It reflects a thoughtful, pragmatic approach to growth - one that recognizes the importance of partnering with communities, policymakers, and stakeholders while building the digital foundation for a thriving world.

As conversations around data center growth accelerate globally, it’s critical that sustainability, infrastructure resilience, and community impact are addressed together — not in isolation. Vantage Data Centers has just shared our new environmental goals externally for the first time, reinforcing our commitment to building the digital foundation for a thriving world in a way that is responsible to the environment, communities, and ratepayers. I’m excited to be working with my team on these new company goals at Vantage as we move from commitment to execution. #ResponsibleGrowth #SustainableInfrastructure #DataCenters #EnergyTransition #WaterStewardship #ClimateAction

I do completely agree to the statement of the Vantage CEO, Sureel Choksi . In our constant aim to deliver the most sustainable infrastructure solutions for the support of the growing DC-demand for AI and digitization, we need to take care of the concerns of the locals, cause we’re entering into their property and livelihood - when both sides understand the importance on the one hand, and the positive impacts on the other, we can create a better environment jointly! #welivedatacenters #EON #EIS #localpowergeneration

Data center investing is not about buildings anymore. It is about land with power is revenue. The market is already pricing the difference. The question is not where you build. It is whether you can energize. Powered land is becoming the most valuable asset in digital infrastructure. #DataCenters #InfrastructureInvesting #PrivateEquity #RealAssets https://lnkd.in/eBdqBcP9

Entergy Announces $5B in Customer Savings from Data Deals Why this matters: - The savings come from power agreements where large data center operators, including companies like AWS, Google, and Meta, pay the full cost of the electricity and infrastructure needed for their energy-intensive facilities, preventing those costs from being passed on to residential customers. - These projects are also expected to bring major economic benefits, including billions in regional investment, new jobs, and improved grid infrastructure while helping stabilize electricity prices for existing customers. Our take: This highlights a new model for balancing the massive energy demand from AI-driven data centers with consumer protection. If structured correctly, large tech infrastructure projects could actually help subsidize grid upgrades and reduce costs for everyday customers. What do you think? Can partnerships between utilities and data centers become a sustainable way to expand power infrastructure without increasing costs for regular consumers? Solar energy is reshaping the data centre landscape with APAC leading the charge. Our latest Global Data Centre Outlook https://lnkd.in/gwjGHgnq reveals that solar will account for nearly half of global renewable energy capacity in 2026. Despite its intermittent nature, it will remain a cornerstone of sustainable data centre operations for years to come. What I found remarkable is APAC's dominance in this transformation. The region will drive global solar capacity expansion through 2030 with an estimated 4,000 GW of additional supply, creating unmatched opportunities for long-term renewable energy access. Discuss with us how energy and sustainability is impacting your data centre. #JLL #CRE #DataCentres

Southern California’s data center market may be relatively small today, but it’s poised for significant growth. With just 335 MW of existing capacity, the region ranks among the smallest data center markets in North America, yet demand driven by AI and cloud computing is expected to nearly double capacity in the coming years, according to research from JLL. Developers are navigating higher power costs and added oversight from the California Energy Commission for projects over 50 MW, but the momentum is clear: the need for digital infrastructure in Southern California continues to accelerate. https://lnkd.in/e4p-X3Hb
