Fuel oil tanks at secondary sites often mean extra patrols, extra time, and extra risk. This case study shows how a fully wireless, EX camera + AI enables remote tank level monitoring and helps teams reduce on-site checks to respond faster when levels change. Preventing machinery reach incidents Crushing and entanglement risks often happen within defined reach areas. Our Safety AI monitors these zones continuously and reacts when a person enters a predefined danger area. Key advantages: • Works while the machine is operating • Differentiates people from other moving objects • Provides logged video evidence Prevention must be proactive — not reactive. As AI simplifies compliance and reduces overhead in fire protection, will the industry continue to rely on large, high cost providers, or shift toward owner operated companies like BC Fire Protection? Because at the end of the day, this is life saftey, and that still demands real accountability and a human aproach, not just automation. When you work with BC Fire Protection, your dealing with one person from start to finish, clear communication, no layers, and no confusion.

After working with safety teams across construction and industrial sites, one pattern keeps showing up. The hazard gets found. That part works. ✅ What breaks down is everything after. ⏳ Logging delays. 📋 Slow ownership assignment. 🔴 Tasks sitting open past SLA with no follow-up. By the time corrective action is verified, the risk has already had days, sometimes weeks, to cause harm. Detection was never the hard part. Closure is. 🤖 AI changes this equation entirely. Not just by detecting faster, but by compressing the entire cycle from hazard spotted to task closed, from days to minutes. That is where the real safety gains are hiding. So here is a question worth asking your safety team this week: 💬 What is your average time from hazard detected to task closed? Because every day the risk exposure window stays open, the risk is not pending. It is active. 👉 See how viAct compresses your safety response cycle: https://lnkd.in/g_5wEuva #viAct #TaskCompletionCycle #ConstructionSafety #WorkplaceSafety #EHS #AISafety #SafetyTech #SiteManagement #DigitalTransformation #AIoT

There is a question our CEO Gary Ng is asking safety teams this week, and it is one that most sites do not have a comfortable answer to. "What is your average time from hazard detected to task closed?" In his latest post, Gary breaks down why that number matters more than detection rates, where manual workflows break down, and what AI-driven safety systems do differently. A sharp and honest read for anyone serious about closing the loop on site safety. 👇 Read Gary's full post below. #viAct #ConstructionSafety #WorkplaceSafety #EHS #AISafety #SafetyLeadership #SiteManagement #DigitalTransformation #AIoT #TaskManagement

Supply chains are at a crossroads. On one side: industry-led investment in automation and AI, paired with common-sense rules focused on real safety outcomes. On the other: one-size-fits-all, top-down mandates that risk locking industries into practices built on yesterday’s technology. In National Review today, I explore how these two approaches may be headed to a collision on Capitol Hill and what it means for consumers. https://lnkd.in/g_eitqqA

Given other global news, it feels like this very important news article was buried. Here’s what you need to know: in Anthropic’s newest release, its AI is so powerful, that it is limiting access to it. “Anthropic said it [Mythos AI] found critical exposures in every major operating system and Web browser, many of which run power grids, waterworks, airline reservation systems, retailing networks, military systems and hospitals all over the world.” The concern, of course, is this AI getting into the hands of bad actors. It feels like we have crossed a new line in the sand.

⚓ A Question for Marine Superintendents When was the last time a crankcase explosion happened without warning signs? Before ignition, there are always indicators: • 🛢️ Oil mist • 🔥 Localized overheating • 📉 Abnormal vibration • 🌫️ Subtle smoke patterns The issue isn’t lack of warning. It’s detection timing. What if your engine room CCTV could flag these early using AI? Prevention saves budgets — not just engines. #ShipSafety #MaritimeSafety #MarineEngineering #MaritimeTechnology #SmartShipping
