Today in Taipei, we celebrated the first LEED-certified McDonald’s in Taiwan, in Neihu. It brought me back to a moment when I was speaking to a group of primary school students about the UN SDGs. I asked if they had noticed any changes at McDonald’s. Many of them said the same thing: “No more straws.” Simple, but it stayed with me. It’s a reminder of how brands can quietly shape everyday habits, especially for the next generation. And how responsible production can lead to more responsible consumption. Appreciation to the McDonald’s Taiwan team for making sustainability part of daily life. #Sustainability #SDGs #LEED #EverydayImpact #Taipei Azure Pan LEED In North Asia U.S. Green Building Council

Such a great example of how the built environment acts as a silent educator. Interesting to see McDonald’s use LEED certification to normalize responsible habits. Congratulations to the team on this milestone!
