Last month, I had the opportunity to participate in the AI-Ready America Workshop, hosted by SeedAI. The resulting report highlights three trends shaping AI in education: 1️⃣ Schools are moving faster than systems 2️⃣ Local ecosystems are driving the work 3️⃣ Lack of coordination is both a risk and an opportunity Excited to see Washington Leadership Academy Public Charter School and the DC AI Collaborative highlighted as an example of how local actors are creating coordination mechanisms in the absence of clear system-wide guidance. That’s exactly what we’re working to do in DC: bring educators, leaders, and policymakers together to build shared approaches to responsible, equitable AI use and workforce development for K-12 schools.
