I've often questioned how valid it is to be associated with a sport versus the returns other than just exposure.The quality of quantity. In my neck of the woods the Yankees are ' The Team ' . Toyota and Audi have replaced GM as " the official sponsor of .." this year. Is that going to sway anyone's choice in buying a new vehicle ? I think not. Even when in the farthest reaches of the globe you'll see Yankee baseball caps on peoples heads from rice fields,to a red carpet events, I still doubt any benefit. And the biggest complaint of fans is how much a ticket costs to go watch a game while players salaries have reached ridiculous levels, not to mention how much money the owners must rake in. This is no longer has the working man, home spun, woven into the American fabric of the past going for it. There maybe a guilty by association factor. The Lions, Ford Field and supporting Detroit is well worth applauding. This is ...?
