Today, we’re proud to share Grow’s first peer-reviewed publication, an important step in contributing to the broader body of knowledge on online mental health care. This large real-world study examined outcomes for more than 200,000 adults who entered care through Grow from 2022 to 2024 and found that the majority of those measured experienced a clinically meaningful improvement in depression or anxiety symptoms. That matters because meaningful improvement is not just a statistic. Behind those numbers are people sleeping better, worrying less, and feeling more like themselves. We are privileged that so many people trust Grow with their care, and that trust comes with a responsibility to keep building the platform we'd want to care for our own loved ones. Something else stood out as well. Patients who used our tools to select a provider by specialty saw better clinical outcomes, and those who selected by identity characteristics were more likely to stay engaged. This is one of the first real-world demonstrations that giving people more choice in matching with the right therapist for them can shape how effective their care is. These findings reflect an earlier version of our platform, and we've invested heavily in the experience since. By publishing what we find, including the nuances, we hold ourselves accountable and get better. We are excited to share this and keep pushing ourselves and the field forward.
