Michael Hyter’s Post

Early in my career, I thought leadership was about having the right answers.   I was ambitious, driven, and honestly believed if I just worked hard enough and performed at a high level, the rest would take care of itself. What I didn't fully understand yet was that leading requires something different. It requires self-awareness. It requires the ability to read a room, build trust, and navigate new spaces.   Those lessons didn't come easy. Some of them came from mentors who were generous enough to tell me the truth. Some came from stumbling through moments I wasn't prepared for. And some came from finally being in rooms where people invested in my growth not just as a professional, but as a leader.   That's exactly why I'm so proud of what we've built with The ELC Leadership Pathways.   This is about giving early- to mid-career professionals the real tools, frameworks, and networks they need to lead at the highest levels. The things I wish I'd had access to earlier in my journey.   If you're early in your leadership journey and ready to invest in yourself, this program was built for you.   And if you're a leader with people on your team who have the potential but haven't had access to the right investment yet; sponsor them. Be the person in their career that someone was or should have been in yours.   Learn more. https://lnkd.in/eH5Uid-r

This really resonates. I’m still developing as a leader, and I’ve learned it’s less about having all the answers and more about self-awareness, trust, and continuous growth. Grateful for the mentors and spaces that stretch me.
