Back in 1964 and 1973, Chevy airlifted an Impala onto Castle Rock. We went back for a third time with a 2026 Silverado ZR2 and country artist Brooke Lee, singing the classic "See the USA in your Chevrolet" from the tailgate 400 feet above the Utah desert. It’s a real truck, a real helicopter, a real artist — all done for real. Kicking off the celebration of America's 250th birthday, Chevy style! https://lnkd.in/gQCncWac
Let’s not forget to shout out all the great people at Campbell-Ewald who worked so hard to support Chevrolet for over 90 years
Epic views, a timeless song, and an iconic brand make this the perfect way to kick off America's 250th birthday! 💙🚘
Suggest your ad agency use AI versus helicopters and rigging to create this type of ad. Much more cost effective and safer. Tons of AI generated advertisements are now being produced. Both single pictures and reels. Love Moab and Arches. I live in Durango. Have you ever considered the Fisher Towers in the Colorado River canyon east of Moab as a photo backdrop? Highly suggest.
Airlifting a Silverado ZR2 onto Castle Rock to kick off America's 250th birthday celebration is the kind of statement only a truck built for anything can make. Only in America and only Chevy!
I just saw that commercial and I said “That looks like a real truck on a real rock with a real girl and a real guitar!” 👍
Fascinating piece of GM history, Mark Reuss — the airlifted Chevy engines in '64 and '73 show the innovation and determination that built the brand. At the same time, that same determination should extend to supporting employees with disabilities today. My active HRTO case #2024-56170-I alleges that General Motors enforced a blanket “no cane policy” at CAMI Assembly, refusing individualized accommodation for documented mobility needs during disability leave — despite AODA and Human Rights Code obligations. This contributed to further harm (psychiatrist’s January 2026 note confirms causation of PTSD/MDD). True innovation includes inclusive workplaces — fair treatment and accommodation for all workers are part of carrying forward that legacy. #GM #AutoHistory #DisabilityRights #HRTO #WeAreHicksMorley #WeAreBillionStrong
It was nice to see a Corvette convertible cruising with the top down. It would have been nice to see it paired with a new 7th gen Camaro convertible!
The only way to top this would be to have Dinah Shore singing. https://youtu.be/boertpylK0M?si=8Q87a0Cvf3jiZ1kR
The big new hugely profitable nitch with GM, Ford, Stellantis is full size luxury pickups. These are statements of machismo and power. Not worktrucks. They are mostly used on pavement and haul groceries. Their profiles have been elevated and their ends and front grills have been enlarged and enhanced to show bulk and strength like a gym rat on steroids and protein mixtures. It's all about imaging, not transportation. Huge per unit profit to the automakers.
