Recently came across a trending AI video format where you move through dark, eerie spaces with a torch — and it got me curious. I ended up building a small custom GPT that lets users choose different environments (jail, abandoned warehouse, haunted house, etc.) to test how the effect changes with context. Grateful to be part of a 3-day Generative AI workshop held in December, it was packed with sharp insights and hands-on learning. I’ve been thinking a lot about how much noise there is around AI right now. The tools, the hype, the bold claims but with very little clarity. The greatest gift you can give your team is an impossible deadline. You need a demo one week from today. Ask each person to: -Reframe one thing your team already does using AI - Right now schedule the 1:1’s to demo it on Friday - Have them send you one thing they learned daily Don’t optimize for great outcomes. You’re trying to unlock learning under pressure. The daily check-ins are proof of momentum. By Wednesday, you’ll know who’s stuck waiting for permission and who’s already on iteration three of something kind of bad. Most teams are sitting on 10–20% productivity gains because they’re waiting for permission. This is how you find it in January, instead of waiting until December.
