Bailey Reese: Business Development Rep at Echelon Group

This title was summarized by AI from the post below.

Today we're featuring Bailey Reese, Business Development Representative at Echelon Group! What brought you to Boise? I'm originally from Payette, Idaho! I attended TVCC in Ontario because I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my future. After graduating, I still didn’t have a clear direction, so I moved to Sevilla, Spain to live with a former foreign exchange student my family had hosted in high school. While there, I taught English and learned Spanish. That experience helped me discover my true passions, and I decided to return to Idaho and attend BSU to pursue them. I went on to study International Business and Spanish. What's your involvement in the community?  I'm a board member of the Boise State University Alumni Association, where I serve on various committees. If you're a BSU alum and want to reconnect, I’d love to chat with you! I also serve as an ambassador for both the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Boise Metro Chamber. If you haven’t been to Café Con Amigos or Business & Brews event yet, you’re missing out. I’d be happy to invite you if you're interested! What's your favorite BYP event? I’ve been attending and inviting friends to the b|connected socials since I first started my sales role at Echelon Group. It was at these events that I made a handful of great friends, some have since moved away, while others are still here. Hearing their stories about how they grew and what they did to become successful was a valuable learning experience, and it's something I continue to apply to this day. What do you like best about your job? I love that I can help anyone. Ranging from non-profits, construction companies, start-ups, and Spanish speaking business owners. My job ranges from introductions to our team, to assist on company retirement plans, or family wealth management. One of the most rewarding parts is connecting clients with other trusted resources they may need, such as insurance, banking, marketing, or consulting. Being able to then connect them with a community that aligns with their interests brings everything full circle. What's a fun fact about you that someone would not know from looking at your LinkedIn? I make 80 to 100 burritos at a time for lunch. Keep them frozen in the freezer and they are good for a while.
