Power Apps is evolving from a low-code app platform into an AI-native execution layer where Copilot and agents are embedded directly into business processes, not isolated tools. Microsoft 365 Copilot is now generally available in model-driven apps (canvas apps in preview), bringing AI directly into transactional workflows New app skills (data entry, exploration, visualization, summarization) are GA and reusable both inside apps and by external agents. Bi-directional integration: i) Copilot/agents operate inside apps using business data, rules, and permissions; ii) App capabilities are exposed to agents via MCP servers, enabling reuse across Copilot, custom agents, and automations. Agent feed (GA May 2026) provides in-app governance: monitoring, approvals, and human-in-the-loop control for agent actions - this means an important shift from experimentation to execution: AI is embedded into existing enterprise apps, not introduced as separate experiences. Agent Platform Advisor The Agent Platform Advisor is a single-page web app that recommends the right Microsoft agent platform — Agent Builder, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, or Microsoft 365 Copilot — based on a short scored assessment. From the welcome screen you choose one of three paths: ✏️ Take the assessment — a 5-question wizard that scores each platform and produces a recommendation ✏️Microsoft 365 Copilot fast-track — skips the wizard when the user only needs built-in M365 Copilot experiences ✏️Guided exploration — browse all four platforms with scenario-focused summaries before deciding whether to start the assessment The assessment asks about: ✏️ Who is building the agent (business user, low-code maker, developer, data scientist) ✏️ Who will use it (internal employees or external users) ✏️Where users will interact with it (Microsoft 365 apps, a custom app, or background/event-triggered) ✏️ What the agent should do (Q&A, multi-turn conversation, multi-step tasks, or complex orchestration) ✏️ What data the agent needs to access (Microsoft 365 content, external systems, or advanced data sources) https://lnkd.in/gpgQTGCt #AIAgents #Copilot #Microsoft365 #MSAI #CopilotStudio #AzureAI #MicrosoftCAT

Microsoft has slapped “Copilot” on so many products that even seasoned IT professionals struggle to keep track. Copilot, Copilot Pro, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Studio, Security Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Dragon Copilot. So which one do you need? Start with your use case: “I just want a chatbot for general questions” → Copilot Chat (free with M365) “I want AI that understands my work: emails, meetings, documents” → Microsoft 365 Copilot ($30 or $21 for SMBs) “I only need AI for meeting recaps” → Teams Premium ($10/user/month) “I’m an individual, not part of an organisation” → Copilot Pro ($20/month) “I want to build custom AI assistants” → Copilot Studio (included with M365 Copilot, or PAYG) “I need AI for security investigations” → Security Copilot ($4/SCU/hour, or included with E5) “I write code” → GitHub Copilot (Free/Pro/Business/Enterprise) “I’m a clinician documenting patient encounters” → Dragon Copilot Here's our full guide on making sense of Microsoft Copilot: https://zurl.co/iTeA9 #Microsoft #Copilot #SAMexpert

Microsoft just took another big step in making business apps more conversational and actionable. With the latest update to Microsoft Power Apps, you can now bring 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗨𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝟯𝟲𝟱 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Here’s what stands out: 👉 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁 You’re no longer limited to basic app actions. Teams can now build tailored business logic that Copilot can trigger dynamically. Think beyond simple record updates to more meaningful, multi-step workflows. 👉 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵, 𝗮𝗽𝗽-𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗨𝗜 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 Instead of static responses, Copilot can now surface interactive, Fluent UI-based widgets. This means insights are not just delivered, they are visual, contextual, and easier to act on. 👉 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘀 From tracking case progress to identifying process bottlenecks, these enhancements turn Copilot into a more collaborative layer across your apps, not just a query interface. 👉 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗖𝗣 Everything plugs into your existing app setup through MCP servers and Microsoft Dataverse, so there’s no need for additional infrastructure. It’s a natural extension of your current Power Platform environment. From a business applications perspective, this is where things get interesting. Microsoft Agent Framework (MAF) is another great framework to develop agents, but as with any of them, you need an agent platform to run on. Security, identity and resiliency are key here for production. MSFT has Azure service options, but not all are designed as an agent platform, and if you want to deploy to a Kubernetes environment for control and performance (low latency) then what are you choices? MAF + Aspire + Diagrid Catalyst + Kubernetes gives you everything you need to go from local development to production on an agent platform designed for enterprises. Get the perfect intro to this tomorrow 👇
