- When flying a drone, whether it's day or night, safety should be your number one consideration. When taking risks always ask yourself, is this necessary? What will I gain? Is it worth it? - [Man] Do you have a way to eliminate the hazard? Say for example, that you are flying your power lines, do you really need to fly near them? Can you just move to another location? - Does the risks outweigh the cost if something goes bad? No, then don't do it. What can you do so that the risk is less? Can you have more visual observers? Should you fly lower or higher? Maybe fly a different drone. - Always use protective equipment even when not on a construction site. - Are you using visual observers? If so, did you train them? You should. And I don't mean just training them on how to observe and what to look for, I also mean train them in how to communicate.
