Start a new document in Word
- [Instructor] It's time now to launch Microsoft Word, make sure we're logged into our Microsoft 365 account and get creating. Here on Microsoft Windows, you may have a shortcut icon to Microsoft Word right on your desktop and double clicking it will launch Word. If you don't see it, like me, you may have to go to your task bar. That could be across the bottom of your screen, could be collapsed. Maybe like me on the left-hand side, just moving there shows the actual task bar with all of the Microsoft Office apps that were added there during the installation process. And there's Microsoft Word for me. One click on your task bar will launch the app. If you don't see it, you can always go to your Start button and from start navigate to Microsoft Word. When you do launch Word with a click, you will see Microsoft 365 temporarily and then take you directly to Microsoft Word and the home screen.
