Format text with styles in Word

- [Instructor] Formatting text in your Word documents can make them more visually appealing to your readers. But for longer documents where you want to have consistent formatting, the process of selecting multiple attributes for text and then doing the same thing further down in your document multiple times can be time consuming. Instead, you might want to consider using a shortcut called Styles. That's what we're going to explore in this movie as we continue working with our Red30 conference document 0302. If you need to get caught up, we've done a little bit of formatting up here at the top of our document. Now we're going to go down to the first heading, which is connecting you to the latest technology and insider insights. A style is just a group of formatting attributes all stored together under a single name, so it makes it fast and easy to apply.
