Understanding Office versions
- [Instructor] Office 2024 and Office LTSC, which stands for Long-Term Servicing Channel, are the two perpetual or standalone versions of Office. These two versions are almost identical in terms of features and functionality. For this course, I'm using the Enterprise Version 2024 LTSC, though if you're using Office 2024, this is still the right course for you also. The only exception is if you're a Microsoft 365 user, in which there's a completely separate course for you on Word, so I do want to make sure you're watching the right course. Here's how to tell what version you're using. On the top left hand side of the screen, click the word File, and then all the way down at the bottom of the screen, click Account. On the right hand side of the screen, here, I can see that I'm using Microsoft Office LTSC 2024. If yours says any combination of Microsoft 365, or maybe it says Enterprise, Education, it could even say the word Subscription, you want to be watching the Microsoft 365 version…
