- [Instructor] Let's add an image to this document. Place the cursor where you want the image to go. Change to the insert ribbon tab and choose pictures. You can add a stock image if you don't have your own. Word comes with a great stock image library. It's massive and they're free for you to use right inside your document. I do have an image though, so I'm going to choose to insert a picture from this device, which just means you're inserting it from your computer. I'll go to my exercise files, double click on an image. Once I find it, it's going to drop it right into my document where I have the cursor. You can select your image at any time by clicking once on it, and you'll know it's selected because of these white dots that appear around the edges of your image. You'll also notice that a new ribbon tab appears, the picture format tab. With the image selected on this tab, you can make a lot of artistic changes to your image.
