My suggestion to you is to build a simple lab with one domain and add a workstation, just to see how it all works. Make sure you utilize the most current version. Keep in mind that this course was built using the preview version, since that is the latest version available right now. However, the basics of group policy that we discussed in this course will remain the same with the Windows Server release version and all the subsequent versions. What is new in Windows Server 2025 related to group policies are the administrative templates, and there can be more templates down the road, so keep your eyes out for that.
