- [Instructor] There is another type of filtering that you can see here that's also available when it comes to narrowing down who and what you're going to apply your group policy objects to. When you are on a group policy object, you will notice near the bottom here, there's a section for WMI filtering, okay. It says this GPO is linked to the following WMI filter. And by the way, WMI stands for Windows management instrumentation. And the general idea is that this is a way to go ahead and create a filter that narrows down something about the computer, usually, that the user is on, right? So the computer may have to have a certain amount of memory. I could think of an example. If you were deploying software, maybe you want to have enough hard drive space or maybe it needs to be running a certain operating system. So how do we do this?
