- [Instructor] The last thing you need to do to truly get your server fully configured and ready for use is you need to determine what role this server's going to play. In other words, when you just install it and you just go through the basic Configure This Local Server, that's just kind of going through just some installation steps and you just have a generic server. But servers can play many different roles in your environment, and in order to get the server ready for that role, well, guess what? We're going to go to step two here, which is add roles and features. So we're going to click on that. Now, the first screen that comes up is kind of a generic screen that says, "hey, "you're about to do something really significant "to this server."
