Configuring a root authority
- [Instructor] Now that the installation of the certificate services role is complete, we can go ahead and configure our route enterprise certificate authority. Here under the notifications, I can see that something has happened, so I'm going to click on that, and here I can see the link that would have otherwise been available if I had left the Add a Role dialog going. Since I closed it, this is my link to that initial configuration, so let me go ahead and click on that, and let's get this process started. The first thing that it needs to do, is verify that we have permissions to make these changes. I'm currently logged in as the domain administrator account and this domain is at the root of my active directory tree. So I'm actually an enterprise admin already.
