Exclusion policies for templates
- [Instructor] One more important element of active directory RMS is excluding someone from accessing protected content. I'm not talking about blocking a user from opening a specific file, I'm talking about reasons to block all access to all RMS protected content in the entire active directory for us. Exclusion policies provide that kind of power. Here in the RMS Utility, there are three different types of exclusion policies. They represent the three reasons you might want to block access. User exclusion policies block individual accounts from all RMS protected content. This is most often used as a temporary fix when a user suddenly needs to be banned from access. This will cut off access to this type of content while we wait for their account to be disabled or removed from certain groups.
