- [Instructor] Part of the Windows 11 installation process is to determine what edition of Windows 11 you want to install. There are several to choose from, but Windows 11 Home and Windows 11 Pro are by far the most popular. Both can be installed on upgrades or clean installations if the configuration supports it. To see what operating system you currently have installed, click Start, Settings, and System. Look for the about information and let's have a look here. I'm running Windows 11 Pro, you may find you're running a different version or even Windows 10. As noted, there are several editions of Windows to choose from. One is Windows Home and the other is Windows Pro. Here you can see what's available in both editions. When you scroll down, you'll see a more complete list.
