- [Instructor] Like Windows 10, Windows 11 gives us the ability to create multiple desktops. So let's take a look at how this works. To create a desktop, what you'll need to do is to hover over the task view icon, what you can see right here, and you can see right away that we have an option to create a new desktop. Now, depending on how Windows 11 has been installed, you may occasionally find that this icon doesn't exist. If that happens, then what you need to do is just right click on an empty area of the taskbar and choose Taskbar Settings. And that's going to bring up the taskbar settings, and you can see that we have an option right here to turn the task view icon on and off. So, if this is turned off, just click On, and you should see the icon appear. I'll go ahead and close this out. Creating a new desktop is a relatively simple process.
