- [Instructor] Let's see the basics of signing into your computer and shutting it down when you're finished. Every time you turn on your computer, you will start at a screen like this. Click on this screen to sign into your user account. Now, if you have more than one user account set up, you will need to choose the one you want to sign into, and your multiple accounts will be listed on the bottom left corner. I only have one account set up, which is typical, so I'll sign into that account. But look closely at this field to see whether it says PIN or password. If you see the password field, then you'll need to type in the password for your account. Every user account has a password, but you might also have a different way set up to sign in, like the PIN code or a fingerprint scanner or face scanner. If it is prompting you for a PIN code and you don't know the PIN, you can click where it says, "I forgot my PIN," and you…
