- [Instructor] We're going to clarify your privacy controls in Windows, and I want to start by launching an application. So I'll go to the start menu to the list of all applications, and I'm going to launch the application called Weather. Now for some applications, the first time you launch them, you may see a question like this. This application is asking for permission to access my location, and there are other types of permission that applications may ask for. So let's talk about these permissions and the privacy issues that they're designed to protect. Now my computer can identify its physical location based on its internet connection, but you should stop and think about whether you want this specific application to be able to access that.
