- [Instructor] Let's look at how you can store files directly on the desktop and how you can get things cleaned up if you have too much stuff on the desktop. The desktop is the background or the empty screen that you see when you don't have any windows open. And in some ways, the desktop is an extension of File Explorer. So, I'll open File Explorer and I want to navigate to the Desktop folder, which is one of the pre-made folders inside of your Home folder. But I'll just use the shortcut on the left to go to my Desktop folder. And this folder shows the same stuff that is sitting on the desktop itself, except for the Recycle Bin. That's the one thing that you see on the desktop that is not stored in the Desktop folder. Now, you could save something directly on the desktop or you could move some files into the Desktop folder. So, let's see that. I need some files to work with. So, I'll go to my Documents folder.…
