- [Instructor] Let's see how to change the background image on your desktop, sometimes known as the wallpaper. In this case, you can see that I just have a flat blue color. If you have not customized this yet, you might be looking at one of the default pictures. To change your desktop wallpaper, you should go to window settings, inside of window settings, on the left, we'll choose the personalization category, then go to the subcategory for background. And first, I want you to see that there is a menu here where you can choose different options. I've chosen a solid color. With this option, you can choose the color that you want below. If you choose Windows Spotlight, it will cycle through pictures of interesting locations provided by Microsoft. And let's shrink this window down so we can see that my background has changed.
