- [Nick] When you turn on your computer, you will land at the sign in screen where you can click, then type in your password or pin code for your user account. And that will sign you into your account, so you can start working. But your computer might have the ability for you to sign in with a fingerprint or a face scan, or some other method. Also, it's important to know how to change your password or your pin code if you need to. So I will sign in here, and let's go straight to Windows settings. So I'll open the start menu and go to settings. And on the left, choose the category for accounts. And first, let's see how to change your main password. If you ever suspect that somebody might know your password, it's good to change it as soon as you can.
