- What is Copilot? Microsoft offers several artificial intelligence tools under the general brand name of Copilot, which can lead to some confusion. Copilot is most often seen as an AI chat assistant, but there are also specialized tools that can be used inside of applications like Microsoft Word, Teams, or Excel. Some Copilot features require a paid subscription, some can be used for free. I'm Jess Stratton, and in this short workshop, I'll help you decide whether you need to pay for a subscription to get what you need, or whether you'll be happy using Copilot for free without a subscription. I'm also going to identify the main Copilot products and how they're used in different applications. This will help to start working with Copilot, and it will help you when you jump into some of our other Copilot training courses.
