- If you do any kind of physical exercises, you may have found that sometimes, you are asked to put your body in a certain position, and then you work certain muscles, like your leg let's say, and you kind of invert it, and then you do these kicks. I don't know if you do these sorts of exercises, but sometimes, you have to put muscles in a certain position, and then exercise them, and you get more development out of it. I found the voice, at times, can require that, and so I came up with this approach that I call a "Trumpeted Ooh." Now, normally, and you will hear me say, throughout many lessons in this school, that consonants are not your sound, the vowel is, and when we are singing a song, not to close into your consonants, and crunch your vowel, and thus the muscles of your voice. However, in this case, with the trumpeted ooh, we are going to use the muscles of the lips.
