In this video, we'll take a look at the vCenter Appliance Management interface or VAMI for my vCenter 7 server. Here you can see I've gone to the address of my vCenter server and I have appended 5480. So I have appended a colon and then 5480. That's the port number that we're going to connect to. And that's how we're going to get into the VAMI. Now, the VAMI is specifically for the purposes of managing the vCenter Server Appliance itself. So I'm not managing any of my virtual machines here. I'm not managing any of my virtual switches or datastores or anything like that. This is just for the vCenter Server Appliance itself and the management of that appliance. And so here at the initial landing page, you can see the health status of my virtual appliance, and you can see if single sign on is running.
