(intro beeps) - Hi, welcome to Video Post Production Weekly. I'm Nick and we're going to be looking at planning for export. This week's topics include planning for export by planning before import. And this involves the second topic which is knowing the final destination and having this information. The next thing we're going to look at is using background exporting to save time in your nonlinear editing workflow, followed by setting up things such as presets, watch folders and bundles in order to cut down on how much time it takes you to set up your sequences for export. What do I mean by planning for import? This takes place at the pre-production production level where knowing where are you going to be sharing your content, i.e. social media, and in a certain dimension will allow you to make decisions in production of how you capture that material that can save you time in export.
