Sometimes the music what they use is too loud as compared to the audio from someone talking or audio from the surrounding. That's when the music track becomes a bit more annoying because you could only hear the music, you cannot hear anything else. And all the other things, the sound effects, the ambient noise, that also adds up to the emotion of the video. So yes, the music shouldn't be too loud in your videos.
