Vibe Coding Fundamentals: Tools and Best Practices

This course gave me a good idea over what exactly Vibe Coding entails. In a lot of social spaces, people simply act like you can spit an idea out and have everything done, but this does reinforce my original thought - the key is to have a balance of knowing what you want and having the AI assistant help bring it to life. I still feel the strongest "vibe coders" are going to be the developers that know the language they're working with, making it possible to aid in troubleshooting code. I've had a few projects that I got stumped on when using AI exclusively. As soon as I dove into the code, myself, I made huge strides; full-on leaps from version to version, adding features and refining even my own code.

I just hope the jargons be explained more of in layman's term. I am a complete beginner without experience with coding so im having trouble catching up when the instructor mentions some new terms

I am a beginner (6 months in), and I think at the very start of these videos, a basic understanding of the words "Python, CSS, Java, REACT, UI, agent, dashboard, extension,Tailwind, HTML, half-stack, full-stack, front end, and back end) may need to be reviewed and clarified. I didn't have a clue of what these words meant when I first started, and if this course truly is to accommodate "beginners", it should explain what these general terms and popular coding types are. Also, what pull requests, debugging, sandbox, local, and other terms that are used regularly in the coding world. To me, those are the fundamentals. Even though this is targeting Vibe Coding "Convo Coding", these terms are important to the foundation. Otherwise, I really like the way he expresses to allow for AI creativity, and to take it one step at a time. Honestly, I give to many commands "guardrails'", and give too much instruction in just one prompt, and I really like the way he summarizes why it is important not to
