From the course: Vibe Coding for Data Analysts

Setting up your environment

- To make the most of this course, you'll want to have "Visual Studio Code" installed in addition to a GitHub account. We'll be using Copilot within VS Code, so you'll be asked to give permissions for those two to communicate. We'll also be using "GitHub Copilot Chat", so be sure to grant permission to use your microphone. Copilot Chat has a free tier that will be perfectly suitable for this course. If you want access to more models though, you'll need to upgrade your account. Throughout our vibe coding journey, you'll probably need to install several packages. You might already have packages like Pandas, scikit-learn and Polars, but be prepared to install other packages like Seaborn, Textstat, and Streamlit. Remember that each and every vibe coating session will be different. Our prompts might not return the same things, so I'll include the results from all of my prompts in a GitHub repository. Feel free to use them as a reference. In any vibe coding task, you are the main pilot. You should always be prepared to take the controls from your copilot. And finally, remember to have fun while vibe coding. It is awesome to live in a world where we have our own coding assistants who are always ready to offer us a hand.
