- Thanks for watching this course. We used Git for version control, but the techniques we covered will work in any similar software you may end up using. Working with these tools helps you keep closer track of what you've been up to, which is very useful later on. Sometimes surprisingly so. And, because you can always roll back and undo when things don't turn out well, you don't have to worry about a thing. Your experiments and your mistakes can be bolder, knowing that you have that safety net. By no means do you have to use exactly the software we looked at or work in exactly the ways I've described. My hope is that you'll get something useful out of this that will help you in your work directly or inspire you to find something similar, maybe even better, that will work for you.
