- [Narrator] UX design is based on the presentation of visual information in the form of text, colors, motion, icons and images. The first four are fairly low impact on the processor because essentially they're code. UXPin is a pretty robust application in that it accepts PNG, JPG, SVG and GIF images including animated GIFs. Now where things can become a problem is with imaging, and a major problem is wait times. A large image takes a lot of time to load into a smartphone, tablet or even a computer screen. And in this exercise, we're going to look at a couple of ways to, well, get rid of this issue. To get yourself started, open Photoshop and then the BarcelonaCity.psd file found in your chapter three download.
