Setting your guerrilla goals

(bright music) - Let's say you've identified your core research goal, picked a method, and figured out where to cut smartly, surely it's time to dive in. (upbeat music) (water splashes) Well, you could, but a little extra planning here can save you time in the long run. At this point, I did a specific hypothesis to frame your research. You can use the following formula. (letters pop) If we do, build, or provide X thing, then these people will do some desirable outcome. (video scratches) We'll know this is true when we can measure X thing. You can learn more about crafting hypotheses in my UX Research for Agile Teams course. But the real focus here is to set a metric that will help you decide what success is. Let me give you an example from my research assistant, Bremmer. - [Bremmer] Uh-huh.
