Choosing research method

- It's crucial to successful UX research to choose the right methods at the right times, and this can be especially confusing in an agile setting. The good news is that all the same rules of UX research considerations apply, regardless of the setting. Once you figure out your research goal, the same methods you traditionally use will still apply. You'll still need to consider the product development stage and identify riskiest open questions, determine whether you're looking for trends or reasons, think through whether you need to look at behaviors or attitudes, narrow down specific questions to answer and hypothesize about, consider the context you need to investigate your open question, and choose a method that will help you answer your questions appropriately and fit into the context of your work environment.
