Designing layouts for TV

- [Narrator] Let's take a look at how to approach designing for TV. In this case, I'm using the Apple TV OS platform, which has some predefined templates for common layouts and patterns. Apple TV OS has templates for different views. For example, collection views and search. You can find these templates in the Apple Human Interface Guidelines website under resources. I've adapted the layouts to accommodate the music app. You'll notice that in the first screen, the homepage, it's similar to both watch and mobile in that it still maintains a collection of playlists as the primary view. Even though the Apple TV templates have been applied, we can still navigate this app the way we have in the other two devices. I can still select a playlist and scroll to see more.
