- [Instructor] Design thinking is often misunderstood. Despite hearing about the four Ds or other stages of design thinking, that doesn't mean your stakeholders don't think it's a workshop. I was at IBM Watson Health, so I've been asked if you come up with the UI by doing a workshop way too many times. Since this chapter is about stakeholder deliverables, I'll focus on both design thinking and it as a deliverable. Whether your team focuses on the double diamond or the goals for the stakeholder deliverables is always about the outcomes, not the process or the outputs. I'm a huge fan, thanks to a fellow designer and my mentor, Jason Whitney, of design plans. They are part of the design thinking process. And for this instance, we'll use yet another example of one.
